You use SScript to make your own mods, so basically, you still require some knowledge of source code to use the scripting system, however, you can find some documentation for the core parts of basic modding needs here in the wiki.

as for where to mod, it's directly in the assets folder, the engine reuses the assets folder as the mods folder
