Description
Software team wants to use the Pi as the unit of storage to support their automated infrastructure. They would like us to write to an [input plugin supported by Telegraf] (https://www.influxdata.com/time-series-platform/telegraf/telegraf-input-plugin/).

  • Modbus — possible, but difficult to develop with.
  • MQTT — possible, but may require introducing networking components.

Definition of Done

  • Tested
  • Code reviewed
