Is it possible for the tags section of datadog.yaml to be empty? For example, we used to remove the tags in our prerun.sh like this:
sed -i -e 's/^ - dyno:.*$/# &/' "$DATADOG_CONF" sed -i -e 's/^ - dynotype:.*$/# &/' "$DATADOG_CONF" sed -i -e 's/^ - appname:.*$/# &/' "$DATADOG_CONF"
Since #182, this hasn't worked because the prerun script is run before the dyno tags are added to the config file.
I tried updating our prerun script to this:
export DD_TAGS="dyno dynotype appname"
However, this just added empty tags to the generated tag list.
tags: - dyno:run.6433 - dynotype:run - buildpackversion:dev - appname:fgf-heroku-drain-datadog - dyno - dynotype - appname
The app we run is monitoring other apps. It sets these tags itself. The default tags get in the way.
Thanks!
