The current error reporting in Globstar could be more comprehensive and actionable. We need to implement a structured error reporting system that helps users quickly understand and fix issues. This should provide context-aware error messages and machine-readable output formats that can integrate with development tools.

Some ideas:

  • JSON/YAML error output format
  • Context-rich error messages, with the lines and columns highlighted
