Instead of talks where people say what they did, working examples are prepared so conference participants can actually use the software, data sources, etc. These presentations get more time, maybe 30 minutes.

Presenters would need to prepare the material (notebooks or similar) and input data sufficiently in advance for participants to install and be ready at the conference. Conference organizers should also rent a beefy server with a JupyterLab host running the necessary notebooks for those who are having frustrations.
