The video is not uploaded when an asset is added to a matrix field that is not saved yet.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. create an entry
  2. add a matrix field
  3. upload the asset
  4. save the entry

Result: no upload to Cloudflare is triggered.

What does work, but isn't a permanent solution:

  1. create the entry
  2. add a matrix field
  3. save the entry
  4. upload the asset

This will trigger the upload to Cloudflare.

I tried both settings, no difference:

  • Upload videos to Cloudflare Stream as soon as the asset is created.
  • Upload videos to Cloudflare Stream usign form data instead of via the asset`s url

PS. also the button "upload to cloudflare" when editing the asset doesn't seem to do anything here. Nothing happens after clicking it.

Hey @arifje

What does the craft queue says ? Do you have any errors there ? Or in the queue logs ?

@arifje Also, turning auto-upload after your file is in Craft won't do it (you need to hit that button to upload it to CF)
