It would be good to build up some default templates for new users to start exploring the feature channels tab. These templates would probably be best if they were based on data type (ex: CryoET, CryoSXT, FIB-SEM/SBF-SEM, X-ray microtomography).
Separate from this, but related, it would be good to provide a way to interact with the features that isn't so manual. For example, being able to select and add more than one feature at a time. Being able to change the data source for all of the features rather than changing each individually. Eventually, it may also be nice to provide a range and step feature for optimization of parameters (ex: 10-20, step=2) in conjunction with the snapshot feature request (#28) so that a user can set something up, push a button and walk away, and upon returning look through everything and make some choices.
