Unnecessary workflow_dispatch in docs github action workflow?

Through browsing the github actions tab and trying to learn more about how workflows are configured, I came across this for the workflow doing the docs build

This seems to be due to the workflow_dispatch field in the workflow file:

httomo/.github/workflows/doc_conda.yml

workflow_dispatch:

From the docs, this appears to be a feature to allow manually running a workflow.

Just wanted to ask if this is intentional: do we need to be able to run the docs building manually?
