Image produced by the cryo-CLEM can be potentially misaligned. Including 3D image registration as part of the automated workflow would help improve subsequent sample preparation.

Possible image registration packages to explore:

  • Elastix
  • OpenCV
  • CryoSPARC
  • TOPAZ
  • PyStackReg (Python@C++ version of ImageJ's TurboStackReg)
