Cannot obtain employeeID

I filed a request on SO because I'm unable to retrieve the employeeID AD attribute using adldap2 (sorry! unfortunately, for upload restrictions, I'm not yet able to test using LdapRecord 😞).

Given the two libraries are very similar, I expect the behavior to be akin. What am I doing wrong?

The EmployeeId item is always null.

As I wrote on SO:

I was Connecting to the AD via port 3268. It seems some attributes can be fetched only by connecting to the AD via port 389.
