from internal dev gc with @N-SPC700:

Aaaand just found a VRC7 track that dies on hardware

I'm confident in saying it's version export related; it worked fine earlier before I worked on the module more but ??? changes down the line and it breaks massively
Porting it back to 0.3.1.0 via text export (the version I always keep on hand when things like this happen) and it's perfectly fine from there
