Using VMWARE Workstation Pro 25H2. On boot, all i see is openshell. I have added my ISO for Tahoe as a CD disk. All I see is openshell. I enter FS0: and type "ls" nothing appears. Wondering how to fix?

Attach your VMX file and a list of the contents of the VM folder please? Either bad ISO image or CD not connected.

I have attached the VMX file and got my ISO from https://archive.org/details/macos_iso, or something similar. I have no mac being able to build my own ISO, and I don't know any way of getting a ISO for Tahoe. I have used gibmacos but all I get is a Assistant.gpkg or something.

Any place provide WORKING intel ISO for sequoia?

Sorry I just do not comment about ISOs etc. You will have to find that yourself or use internet recovery. I still want to take a look at the VMX please as you mentioned also attaching the Opencore.iso file which should not be needed. There is no identifying data in the VMX file it’s just a text file.

I am on my school laptop. I can give you my VMX after I get home.

I got my VMX ready. I got a working Sequoia ISO. I updated to Tahoe from there. It seems REALLY laggy, but not more than Sequoia. I cannot log into my apple ID. Any fixes? No way to install XCode without the apple id working
