Memory Modules Miconfigured

I am using OC4VM 3.0 and successully installed Sequioa. I generated random macpro7,1 serials and rebooted. But when I click about MAC, nothing happens and then i get the "memory modules misconfigured" message. I thought restrictevents kext stopped this?

It should but as I've designed this around using iMac19,2 the setting is not in the system. I'll go and find out what to do, but expect an answer tomorrow as not currently in front of my test systems.

So I have not been able to test this but please try it out and let me know how it goes. Open Terminal in the guest and run:

sudo nvram 4D1FDA02-38C7-4A6A-9CC6-4BCCA8B30102:revblock=pci
defaults delete com.apple.SlotNotificationsPref memoryBadgeCount
defaults delete com.apple.SlotNotificationsPref expansionBadgeCount

I ended up adding the following to my vmx. I'm using ESX 9.1. When I added board-id i no longer get the message and 'about this Mac' also works and shows mem, cpu config correctly.
