Hi I own a Toyta RAV4 Hybrid and when it charges I have quite an annoying behaviour.

The charge level in the mytoyota app (when the car is charging and not moving) is only updated when I ask the mytoyota app to update it manually (the manual update then always takes about 3 - 4 minutes). The battery level and battery range (when the car is stationary and charging) in Home Assitent is also only updated if I update it manually in the mytoyota app. Does the toyota api have the ability to trigger this manual update process like the mytoyota app does.

Then I wouldn't have to constantly update the battery status manually in the mytoyota app, which gets annoying for me in the long run, but this behaviour really only occurs when charging, when I drive the car and park it somewhere, home assitent and the mytoyota app update the values automatically.

If the Toyota Api supports this, then perhaps a configurable option could be built into the home assitent integration that allows you to specify how often you are manually asked for the battery level / range (other values outside the battery level / range always seem to fit).

Same for me. The MyToyota App does not update itself. The car needs to be manually "asked" to provide the current Battery-SOC. It would be really helpful if Homeassistant would request an update to the car every 30 minutes or so. (If it's possible via API?)

I could use the SOC in automations. Would be very helpful.
