Ride 4.6 should use the following storage locations:

Windows Linux macOS
Config files, colour schemes
things that the user usually wants consistent across computers		 %APPDATA%\dyalog\ride\46 1. $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/dyalog/ride/46
2. $HOME/.config/dyalog/ride/46		 $HOME/Library/Preferences/dyalog/ride/46
Electron stuff
things that pertain to Ride on this computer		 %LOCALAPPDATA%\dyalog\ride\46 1. $XDG_DATA_HOME/dyalog/ride/46
2. $HOME/.local/share/dyalog/ride/46		 $HOME/Library/dyalog/ride/46
