Never done that. What needs to be done in order to publish this project as a pip package? That is, both a library that can be used with import statements and as a standalone program.

Some progress has been made and the project is now on PyPI.
Still, it needs to be refactored to be a library

Almost done. I don't like the APIs much, but I've never done anything similar, so that's what you get...
