Wordpress plugin for site ermekeilkarree.de offering functionality that is independent from themes.
This plugin should be activated for the whole multisite network in order to make it an integral part of the network.
- Add a custom post type to display alerts on the front page
- Add a function to retrieve garden opening times from Events Manager plugin
- Put footer and mobile-nav menu under network control
- Add blog settings for "long description" and "cover image" using the Settings API
- Add a function to retrieve latest posts across the network
- Switch to semantic versioning (http://semver.org/)
- Add two log actions which allow us to temporarely block spammers via fail2ban
- Register a global menu across the network which may only be customized from the main site.
- Use a separate theme template for the network's front page.
