proxy settings for 'user download'? difference w/ developer version?

Is there a difference in adding proxy rules in the 2 different app downloads for the map tour- user vs developer? I am using the user version as I have with other story map templates (series). I cannot get the proxy rules to work so did not know if the examples I am following are valid for this template. I am trying to avoid yet another to support for 3 proxy support request for 3 different apps.

as well as the proxy setting assistance I got regarding using with the storytelling series template that lets you use an app created in the online story map builder. I am not really interested in the developer version since i think I can do all the small tweaks I want to make (my logo since it will not add in builder mode, proxy rules) in the user version of the app. It seems very similar to the series app yet my proxy is not being referenced.

There should be no difference between user and developer version for that.

It seems to works for me, I added the same piece of code given in the Map Series thread to index.html of the user version of Map Tour and it got proxies to proxy

Maybe it's just your urlPrefix that was not correct?
