What makes this a good location a EuBIC-MS Developers Meeting?

The still active monastery Neustift in South Tirol, Italy is host to a convention center with multiple meeting rooms in the monastery itself, along with several rooms for the participants. For several years, Neustift also hosts the summer school for advanced proteomic. The historic city center of Brixen is reachable by bus or by foot and the ski area Plose should be open for business at the time.
The convention center offers:

29 single rooms and 15 double rooms
1 large seminar room for welcome roundup and farewell (Augustinisaal)
6 seminar rooms for the hackathon groups (Hartmannsaal, Alte Torggl, Mariensaal, Rokoko Salon, Propst-Nikolaus-Haus)
Energy breaks with coffee midmorning and in the afternoon
Stay hydrated: Water and some fruits will available at each time  
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner buffets in the local dining hall

Connectivity

The venue can be reached via
* Airport Innsbruck: 2 h train ride
* Airport Mailand: 5 h train ride to Brixen
* Airport Munich: 4-5 h train ride to Brixen
* Airport Verona: 2.5 h train ride to Brixen
* Brixen to Monastery: 20 min bus ride to the Monastery / alternative a local shuttle bus could be organized

Yes, the rooms (one big, five smaller breakouts) will be 1800 EUR for the whole week, including projectors and stuff.
Full board stay will be 75 EUR per person, with an availability for roughly 60 persons on site (some rooms are shared, but that sould work ;) ). If necessary, there are some hotels close by as well. Coffee-breaks will be 5,50 EUR per person.

So, including everything we will have slightly above 36k EUR for 60 persons. This still misses a social event, though.
