SELECT users.firstname, ideas.dateadded, ideas.ideatitle, ideas.ideadesc FROM ideas INNER JOIN users ON users.id = ideas.userid WHERE users.id=${req.params.number}

can be divided into multiple lines:

SELECT users.firstname, ideas.dateadded, ideas.ideatitle, ideas.ideadesc 
FROM 
ideas INNER JOIN users 
ON users.id = ideas.userid 
WHERE users.id=${req.params.number}
