Hello @KaKooDa the project originally did not switched base of the distros, according to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trisquel only the first release was on Debian, I've started to change that some years ago

Oops, sorry if I offended you. You certainly did a great job.
So the tree is supposed to mean where the first version was forked from right? If not, then grafting Trisquel to Ubuntu branch might be more accurate because Trisquel is essentially Ubuntu with binary-blobs and evil'ish daemons (like Google's stuff!) removed.
