As one example:
full text search for things where locality equals 大阪市 (Osaka: test unicode)
http://api.v3.factual.com/t/global?filters={"locality":"大阪市"}

Test with other languages, e.g., Chinese, Hebrew

Test with other features and fields as well, e.g. business name.
