Instructions: https://tails.boum.org/install/expert/usb/index.en.html

  1. Download tails
  2. Verify that the ISO image is signed by the Tails signing key: gpg --keyid-format 0xlong --verify tails-i386-2.4.iso.sig tails-i386-2.4.iso

  4. Create an encrypted persistent storage follow the instructions

The last steps are:

  1. Reboot and choose to enable persistent storage (choose what kind of storage like ssh/gpgkeys)
  2. Open IceDove (email client) and type in username, email and password - with riseup that was all
  3. Still need to setup encryption

@pstaeheli made a script that will prompt the user for a encryption pass-phrase in dc5bdfd. See #4 for more info

Re-open because I never got around to write a small guide for this.

The initial comment still hold true (download etc.).

1.Reboot and choose to enable persistent storage (choose what kind of storage like ssh/gpgkeys)

While choosing kind of storage is not necessary anymore.

I have yet to do step 2 and verify step 3 in tails 3.9.
