Legal terms are a great fit for Material Design and especially for cards. The ideal would be if the content of each provision existed as a file in an expected location (GitHub ideally) and format (ideally as json or csv but highly structured markdown could also suffice). A provision would typically be like a paragraph in a contract or license.

Been working on a site to further explore the best fits and combinations of data-driven terms that can originate from distributed sources and end up in lightly specified card formats so people can get accustomed to a common display and expected serts of user action functionality. Here is current version (no content yet): http://legalmarkup.github.io/LegalMaterialDesign

Here are some preliminary examples of clauses in .md format done with law students last weekend during the National Day of Civic Hacking: https://github.com/UMKC-Law/DataSharingAgreement/tree/master/ClauseBank

Also, here was an earlier (less well informed but technically cooler) attempt at composing contracts via cards from a project I did with MITRE Corporation: https://github.com/mitreid-connect/trust-framework/blob/master/dtf-webapp/card.json
