In this release

• we changed abs() to fabs() in .cpp files, resolving the following warning: using integer absolute value function 'abs' when argument is of floating point type highlighted at https://cran.rstudio.com//web/checks/check_results_SANvi.html to avoid removal from CRAN
• we updated the GitHub actions for package checks

We now report, for the updated version of the package, the following
