[BUG] get_market_snapshot consistently returns NN_ProtoRet_TimeOut, even for a single stock

Hello Futu Dev Team,

I am consistently encountering an NN_ProtoRet_TimeOut error when using get_market_snapshot, even when requesting data for just a single stock (e.g., HK.00700).

I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps without success:

Running during trading hours.

Using the latest futu-api version (9.6.5608).

Using a stable Python version (3.12.4).

Ensuring Futu OpenD is connected.

Testing on a very simple script that only requests one stock.

Attached is a screenshot of the error from my latest test.

My Environment:

OS: [Your Windows Version]

Python: 3.12.4

futu-api: 9.6.5608

Futu OpenD: [Your OpenD Version]

Could you please advise if this is a known issue or if there are any client-side (OpenD, network) configurations I need to check? Thank you![

Please check your opend version. If it is 9.5.5508, please update to 9.6.5608 or return to 9.4.5408.

Please update openD rather than api to 9.6 .
