Opening the homepage, shows the above error in the console on Chrome 53 on Mac.

Similar to issue reported here in polymer: Polymer/polymer#3766

Will need someone with polymer experience to weigh in and help.

I got this error coming from react-intl. Basically, it was complaining because of a string was passed as an object...
