@rounakdey6 It’s okay, it happens. Since the CA registrations are closed and all CAs have been selected, the selection emails have already been sent out. You won’t be able to join as a CA, but you can still contribute as a contributor. Selection emails for contributors will be shared soon.

I kindly request that you focus on selecting meaningful projects this time. Last time, many were clones and did not provide real value, making contributions feel unproductive. Please consider implementing PMF and idea validation steps to ensure project suitability. It would be more impactful to have many people working on a few strong projects rather than spreading efforts too thin.

• Make sure to put all of your details correctly also if you're uploading a resume then the restriction for file size is less than 1 MB
• Referral code should be empty as it is optional
• If the issue arises then apply through desktop

The role of a Campus Ambassador in GSSoC (Girlscript Summer of Code) involves promoting the program within their college or university, encouraging students to participate

As a Campus Ambassador, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Spread Awareness: Promote GSSoC within your campus, on social media, and among your peers.
• Organize Events: Conduct virtual or physical sessions to introduce open-source and the GSSoC program to your campus community.
• Foster Participation: Encourage students to participate in the program, attend webinars, and make contributions.
• Engage & Report: Share your activities and experiences with the GSSoC team, and actively engage with the ambassador community.

Also we are scheduling a session regarding this soon , So stay tuned and keep promoting .

@ayeshaq04 Nope, if you received a pop after clicking on submit saying "successfully registered," then you are registered. there is nothing else to do, wait for the selection mail to roll out soon

• As a contributor, You have to gain atleast 60points to be eligible for "Certificate of Participation"
• Also, this is not an internship but an "Open Source Program"
• There is no limit on Number of projects you can contribute to.
• You'll get the Certificate(if you meet the criteria) , When the program Ends.

In GSSoC,

• Go to Girlscript official Website > Projects Section
• Check for the projects which Aligns with your tech stack
• choose the project, open the deployed link
• try to find new issues, bugs and features you think that can be resolved (also you can check for existing issues labelled with "Good first issue" )
• Once you found the issue, Raise the issue in that repository.
• Wait for sometime, till the PA Assigns you..
• Once assigned, Start to work on it

Fork it > clone it > make changes > commit > Create a pull request.

• once your PR got merged successfully, you'll get the points.

It depends on the Project admin , if they have merged your PR , You can't do anything.

If your unmerged PRs meets following conditions -

1. You have created an issue
2. You were assigned to work on that issue by the PA/mentor

Then -
