If the RCS version is incompatible with the JFP doing the login, debugging could be very difficult.

Immediately after connecting RSR, get the commit id of the RCS and be ready to present that information to the user if we have trouble getting projects for the console. (Getting projects may be our first clue that something is out of sync)
