This is a task to recreate the existing map visualizations in the alpha app in this code base.

One question is how to handle the color breaks for the choropleth maps. Currently we're using the GeoDa JS module but as is noted in #5 there may be some challenges around using this in the new code base.

As an interim solution, we could use the geostats npm package: https://github.com/simogeo/geostats
