I'm not opposed to this, but I know nothing about the package manager that's used, and what the most officially supported it recommended method to install docker is. The rest we've pretty much got handled. |
so they use the eopkg manager "eopkg install docker" add -y so it installs any requirements |

I've got some ideas on how to handle it, but i need to make some changes to get us there. One is already in progress. I'll report back with more info when i get closer. |

I do plan to do this, but I have not yet started. This will actually involve a bit of a reworking of how we currently install docker itself, and possibly compose. |
Just an update here, I've made some progress in this direction, but it's nowhere near ready yet. It's not off the radar. |
#1321 This PR is the first step towards DS officially supporting solus. Once that merges I'll still have more work to do, but it opens the door. |
