Ember Implementation for Django with Ember App Kit and Django Rest Framework.

##CSS Framework We're using foundation, via SCSS, so to install, follow the instructions here:

http://foundation.zurb.com/docs/sass.html

From Operis root:

gem install zurb-foundation gem install compass compass create static -r zurb-foundation --using foundation --force

Then to keep up with modifications, you can run (in a separate CLI): compass watch

##Django Rest Framework Using a custom renderer and serializer, we come very close to a native Ember Data syntax. But there are a few minor adjustments to the Ember Data adapter and serializers.

##Ember Data Pagination We're using the canary build of Ember to enable query-params for pagination.

##Ember Scaffold Generator

Ember is integrated with the EAK, we'll be migrating to Ember CLI soon.

To generate Ember Scaffolding,

python manage.py generate

In your model, create an Ember class, as so:

class Ember:
    index_list = ['id','FirstName','LastName']
    fields = ['FirstName','LastName','Company','Address','City','State','Zip','Telephone']

Then from cli in the "static" directory,

grunt local
