Some basic controls

For the life of me i could not get 2 switches to work on same page until i changed the 1 to a 2 in the second switch and now they work. Do i do this for every switch on the plate or just page and what is it.
P.S. rookie here.

If you are talking about the templates in "val", they can be anything...

i could not get both switches to work unless i changed the 1 to a 2 in the second switch.
I was just wondering what that # is and if i add a third switch all put a 3 in there but why. I just copied the examples

you have 2 templates:

• 1st will render 1 or 0
• 2nd will render 2 or 0
  You can test if the template is working in Home Assistant Developer Tools, from the custom component there is no requirement for 1 or 2 (it actually doesn't care at all which values are there), so this might be related to the firmware.

Maybe you can share your jsonl used to configure the panel ?

2 has no meaning. Check the doc:

Val can be only 1 for on, and 0 for off.

in the jsonl above you have page 3, in the config you have page 4. page should be the same.
also your buttons are not toggle!

wiped everything started new. working fine now.
