Hi, Thanks for sharing this nice project. I have just build one and although everything seems to work fine, I have one issue. The screen brightness is very low and the overall screen is very dark. I have tested with a second identical LCD and brightness is the same, so it's not the LCD. Also tested this LCD with other hardware 9ESP32) and there I get a bright screen.

Any clue as to what might be wrong ? Using the following config.txt :

dtoverlay=rpi-display

Thanks for your help !

hi,
is the right transistor (BC557) soldered for the backlight? Otherwise the backlight will be very dark...

Hi, thanks for your answer. Yes it is ... I increased the backlight a bit by doing some modifications in the theme. It helps. But the display is hardly readable if there's a lot of light.
