        atol = 1e-4,

If my results have numbers that go to $10^{-22}$, I should apply a tolerance that accepts variation up to $10^{-23}$ (up to discussion, this needs to be in agreement with domain knowledge).

  • How much noise can I have without affecting the final result?
  • What is the precision of the final results?
