Rebranding again.. future direction

as i dive deeper down the rabbit hole, wanting to turn this into a universal solution... reinventing the wheel to a degree.
learning more about these low-level or perhaphs just "industrial protocols"

i've come to the conclusion that this project needs to be rebranded again!

there are existing, mainly closed source solutions, in the automation world. to my little understanding are called, "Protocol Gateways"
no idea how they work, never used one :P

for the future of this project, i would like to have bidirectional translation of various protocols, based upon simple csv / configurations.
merging addresses and variable names in a simple conherent manner. later down the road a webui. perhaphs in a seperate project.

right now, we have translations of data from modbus rtu, tcp, ect... or so, to mqtt.
i would like to expand that to include additional protocols, such as canbus, and other custom similar protocols ie, pylon 485.
additionally, allowing for translations between any protocol. ie, modbus rtu to modbus tcp.

is what i'm thinking for the rebranding.

this is ambitious, and i'm not sure if i'll have time this summer to implement all of this, but peraphs in fall or upcomming year.
automation, robotics, manufacturering is something that has always interested me; so i percieve this as a good learning oportunity for myself and perhaphs a starting point of a new industrial standard/solution.

being in the middle of building a homestead, and wanting one full of automation and robotics for farming, i can forsee this as being a possible key component.

started rebranding and rewriting changes for dynamic routing.

wasn't that bad.

needs more cleaning and debugging, but getting there.

after house keeping is done, can resume implementing write protections.

next version will be significantly different.
user configs will have to be rewritten as i've completely reworked configs.
no backwards compatability.
v1.0.9 will be v1.1.0
