[BUG]: Text is misaligned or cut off the screen #323

Device used:
Mac OS BigSur Version 11.3.1
Monitor Resolution 2560 x 1080 (Though I tried on smaller monitors and didn't seem to matter)

Browser(s) Used:

  • Chrome
  • Safari
  • FireFox
  • Other: __

Description

The host and join buttons are not in their boxes
the join code is cut off on the bottom left and not viewable

Expected Behavior

The Join and Host Button's should be presented in their text box buttons
The Join CODE on the bottom left of the host screen should be viewable.

Actual Behavior

The Join and Host button's are not in their button boxes
The join code is cut off

Replication Steps & Data

  1. Click on link given to me by @I3uckwheat on slack
  2. Navigate to default browser of Chrome
  3. Host and join button's not in boxes
  4. click on host button and join code is cut off

(All jokes aside I have no idea how to replicate this it looks fine on Brigg's machine and we have the same company computer)

User Story

As a Player I want the Host and Join Buttons to be presented correctly on all device's
As a Player I want the Join code to not be cut off the screen.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • Host Text is in the button and not floating below it
  • Join Text is in the button and not floating below it
  • Join Code is in frame of the screen and not cut off

I wonder if its something with yalls specific work computers or something. My 13" MBP (2560 × 1600) running Big Sur 11.2.3 looks correct in Chrome.

I saw this on the built-in browser of a smart tv as well, unfortunately, I don't have any more details than that.
