Hi, the multi-agent RStudio workflow is very interesting.

Honestly, it's something I have yet to deeply dive into myself. I added the ability so the potential as accessible to those interested in those frameworks, however, for my tasks, a single agent does just fine given the cost/benefit utility. There are times when I'll have another agent check things after the original one has finished, but I tend not to run them in parallel. Compute is pretty strained for me so I try not to run excessive explorations unless they're tied to my research, or I have extra tokens so spare.

However, on my to-do list is benchmarking how agents do on data analysis tasks. Big blocker is I need a realistic dataset that has been mined extensively but also isn't in the training data to test various configurations on. I am sure such a dataset exists, but I don't have the time right now to find the ideal one.

Totally get your point! "Single agent + Utility-first" is often the smartest move, especially when compute is a bottleneck. Over-engineering is the last thing we need.

That "unseen, realistic dataset" you mentioned for benchmarking is truly the Holy Grail of Agent evaluation. As we build WisePick (WPDA), we're also curating test cases specifically for ECU (Executable Capability Units) logic to ensure determinism.

We'll keep an eye on some niche, non-public industry datasets (like recent academic audit cases). If we come across anything that fits your criteria, I’ll be sure to share it. Perhaps then we could collaborate on a benchmark to compare the accuracy and cost-benefit of a single agent versus a "routed multi-agent" setup in complex data tasks.
