nan warnings from netcdf #234
Description
AOML climatology is generating warnings of the sort described in Unidata/netcdf4-python#766; I don't think this is fatal, but there are some mitigation options mentioned in that issue that may be worth exploring in future, in order to avoid getting spammed with warnings about missing values in the climatology.
