django-drf-filepond v0.6.0 will be the first Python 3-only version of the library.

In preparation for the 0.6.0 release, Python 2.7-specific code should be removed to clean up the codebase.

This is being pushed back to v0.7.0 because there are some important changes in v0.6.0 that should be available to any remaining users of this library maintaining applications that use/support Python 2.7.
