SSH Brute Force Tool

This Go program attempts to connect to a given host using a list of passwords for brute-forcing SSH credentials. The program limits the number of concurrent connections to avoid overwhelming the server and getting rate-limited.

Prerequisites

  • Go 1.15 or later
  • SSH server to test against (with permission)
  • Password list file (p.txt)

Installation

  1. Install Go.
  2. Download the required Go package:
    go get golang.org/x/crypto/ssh

Usage

  1. Create a file named p.txt containing the list of passwords to try, one per line.
  2. Clone the repository or create a new Go file (main.go) and copy the provided code into it.
  3. The program uses root as the default username, you can change it to match your need.
  4. Run the program:
    go run main.go
  5. Found passwords will be written in credentials_found.txt
