vuln_test leads to system halt before reaching main

Hi everyone!

I am trying the windows kernel example. The setup worked well and I currently fail at the very last step.

What I noticed when I use virt-manager to boot the vm manually:
I can install the vulnerable driver but when I start the vuln_test service or run vuln_test.exe from cmd, the system crashes / halts before reaching the main function. If I set the service to autostart, the machine crashes during boot.
Is this expected as I use a different version of QEMU when using the vm with virt-manager?

Next step would be to attach a kernel debugger, but as I have no clue what nyx_api does under the hood, this would probably many days of work =)
