Has to have + and - pole for electrons to move.
Loses electrons along the way, longer- and or cheap cables increases loss. High voltage reduces loss but becomes more dangerous and can catch stuff on fire or chock.
A wire's conductivity is controlled by the number of free electrons in the material the electricity goes through.
