All metals can be made into sheet metal you can place as blocks in the world just like Immersive Engineering's Sheetmetal (doesn't mean you should do). But different metals can react differently to air; copper usually become stronger and more green-looking while iron corrodes to fragile brown-looking flakes if walked on or touched.
