Installing the launcher

Guide on how to get the launcher installed on your operating system.

Microsoft Windows

1. Download the launcher installer from https://beta.freeso.org/FreeSO%20Launcher%20Setup.exe
2. Run the installer. A SmartScreen window may appear, click on More Info and then Run Anyway.
3. Follow the installation steps and once finished, the launcher should appear.

Mac OS X

1. Download the .dmg launcher from https://beta.freeso.org/fsolauncher.dmg.
2. Double-click the .dmg file in your downloads folder. This should mount the dmg and open the installation window.
3. Drag FreeSO Launcher.app to your Applications folder.
4. Open the launcher from your Launchpad.
