rgeos was removed from CRAN #19

Does this mean that lidRplugins can no longer be used? I'm not too familiar with how R works. |
Well, old packages from CRAN are archived but can still be installed on the short term. Search to find how to do it. But in the long term, it is possible that the archived package will no longer be installable at all with increasing versions of R. |
Hey, So the package, and algorithms, are not in use anymore? |

lidRplugin is not maintained and has never been. It exists. You can install it, but you must install rgeos first.
