Run-time error '53': libIguanaTexHelper.dylib not found

I obtain the run-time error 53 saying the .dylib file is not found but I can see the file at that exact location. I also can't click on any button with a box in the main settings. I am using a brand new M4 Macbook air running the latest macOS 15.3.2.

Make sure you don't have a typo in the path.
You may also need to go to the Mac's Settings, then Security and Privacy, and click "Allow Anyway".
Otherwise you can try to use homebrew.

I ran into the same issue on MacOS 15.6.1. I could resolve it by changing permissions on the directories containing libIguanaTexHelper.dylib
