I'm wondering if it would be possible to wrap bombcell in a docker container so it could be used by those without ready access to a MATLAB license? I recall that this was done for earlier versions of Kilosort before KS4 shifted to Python.

Hi Nikhil,

That's a great suggestion! We're looking into it. We also have someone working on a Python version and it should be released in the coming months.

Hi, sorry to bother -- any ETA on the Python version of BombCell and also the Docker container? Thanks!

Sorry we're running into a few delays releasing the python version but (fingers crossed) it should be soon.
Regarding wrapping the MATLAB in a docker, I think we'll hold off on that. We ideally want to keep the number of things to maintain to a minimum :)

Thank you for the update. I understand about not wanting to maintain too many things -- we look forward to your release of the Python version!
