What happened?

I read from my Kavita server primarily from my iPhone running iOS 18.2.1. Often when I open a book (epub), media will start playing with the title "No Sleep". This media is 1 second long with seemingly no audio or video, and it will endlessly loop until I either leave the app or exit the reader back to the Kavita home page.

I have been able to consistently reproduce this behavior after saving Kavita as an app to the homescreen. I am not able to reproduce the behavior as frequently when accessing Kavita through Safari directly, but I have witnessed it happening on occasion.

What did you expect?

I enjoy listening to music often while I read. This media that plays interrupts my music every time I open the book for the first time, or come back to Kavita after switching to a different app. I would like this behavior to not happen. When I play music, I would expect opening a book or switching apps not to interrupt it.

Additional Notes

This topic was originally discussed on Discord in the support channel. The conversation ended with the conclusion that the culprit is most likely a solution to keep the screen awake.

Honestly, the real bug is that I get distracted a little too often when I read books on my phone. Unfortunately, that one can't be solved by a GitHub issue. A GitHub issue may be able to decrease how often getting distracted compounds by having to manage my music every time, though.
