My idea is to add roman fields. They could be useful for early periods of game session, when it's not enough workers for farms. Also the fields could be useful in cases of lack of fertile ground. Obviosly, the fields will produce less food than farms and possible need drainage canals and water pumps to increase the food production.
The possible parameters could be following:
Size: 1x1
Workers: 1-2 (a family)
Produces: wheat, vegetables, fruits , something else (some special resource, which could produced only by fields, not farms).
